Prospect Park East Network is a group of residents living in Lefferts Gardens and nearby neighborhoods advocating for responsible development east of Prospect Park.
Home
This is our rendering of the likely appearance of a proposed 23-story, 220 foot building on the eastern border of Prospect Park at 626 Flatbush Avenue.
The proposed tower takes up less than 20% of the building lot. A lower height structure could easily be built within the very large space.
We are asking our politicians to work to lower the height of the building and to implement contextual zoning. Consider signing our petition and viewing the related documents (see links).
Prospect Park East Network (PPEN) is an organization of concerned residents formed to address this development and the larger concerns it brings, which include the urgent need for contextual zoning and impact studies on such issues as traffic, subways, parking, schools, safety, sanitation, low income and affordable housing, and Prospect Park itself.
